SOURCES SOUGHT FOR 70Z08419RBHQ01600 - INOMOMER FOAM BUOYS The United States Coast Guard is seeking contractors interested in submitting proposals for the fabrication and delivery of ionomer foam buoys for USCG Waterway Operations Product Line (WOPL) used by Aids to Navigation (ATON) at various locations across the U. S. Coast Guard. The ionomer buoys shall be fabricated in accordance with attached Specifications and Drawings: Spec. No. 450, Revision G Spec. No. 393, Revision B Spec. No. 460, Revision I Spec. No. 374, Revision F Drawing # 120316F, 121024G, 121100M, 121148E, 121166E, 121167D, 121168C, 121169D, 121170E, 121171C, 121181A, 121184-2007, 121185-2007, 121202, 121187A Draft Statement of Work for Ionomer Foam Buoys is provided for reference This is a Sources Sought/Market Survey announcement targeting companies that can provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, facilities and supervision to fabricate and deliver ionomer foam buoys to multiple Coast Guard destinations. The Government anticipates issuing a single solicitation resulting in the award of a Requirements Type contract with fixed-price delivery orders. The contract will include an Economic Price Adjustment for steel and fuel. The anticipated period of performance is for a base year and four option years with an expected start date on/or about October 2019. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 325991 - Custom Compounding of Purchased Resins. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. A small business set-aside determination will be made based upon the results of this Sources Sought notice (i.e. if enough small business interest indicates that a set-aside for small business will result in an adequate number of responses for competition purposes).
