The U.S. Coast Guard, Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC), in Norfolk, VA has a requirement for Lithium Battery Packs for Ice Buoys. The Contractor shall provide all necessary facilities, materials, equipment, and personnel to fabricate and deliver battery packs in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Specification for Lithium Battery Pack for Ice Buoys, Specification 505, Revision E. The solicitation will be issued as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 335912 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The intended contract vehicle will be a Requirements contract with fixed unit prices. Individual delivery orders will be issued pursuant to the contract when supplies are required. The period of performance is anticipated to be for a one year Base Year and 4 one year Option Periods (not to exceed five full years if all option years are exercised by the Government). The performance period of the contract is anticipated to start in May 2019. Telephone requests for solicitation packages and amendments will be not accepted.
