The United States Coast Guard, Martitimes Security Response Team East anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Johnson Control Inc for the following supplies/services: Upgrade of software and equipment for the Intruder Detection System (IDS). Johnson Control is the sole service provider for this system. The original manufacturer of the referenced software and maintains the proprietary rights, which makes them the sole source. Required Service Date: 07/01/2019 This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC Maritime Security Response Team East. NAICS Code # 561621 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 EST June 4, 2019 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited.
