THIS REQUIREMENT IS BEING COMPETED UNDER A REGIONAL MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR DISTRICT 7 OF THE U.S. COAST GUARD. ********************************************************************* SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS ONLY A SURVEY OF THE MARKET TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS THAT CAN SATISFY THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for HUBZone concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business Concerns (EDWOSB) and Woman Owned Small Business Concerns (WOSB) or Small Business Concerns. The estimated value of this procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2017 code is 237990. The small business size standard is a three-year average annual gross receipt of $36.5 million. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The solicitation in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fbo.gov under the above solicitation number. This project is to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to maintain and renovate sections of the Main Pier (165 feet), Finger Pier (32 feet), "T" Pier (82 feet) and the Bulkhead (380 feet). The pier sub-structure is constructed from timber or concrete that has begun to degrade. To repair them the decking and timber super structure will be removed allowing the damaged concrete caps or timber piles to be repaired or demolished and replaced. New timber stringers and decking will be constructed and new electrical, lighting, water and fueling services will be installed. The floating piers will be removed and replaced with a concrete floating pier. Both floating docks and gangways will be removed and replaced. The davit pier will be removed and disposed of, as it is no longer needed. The bulkhead is constructed of encased riprap that has cracking and these cracks will be repaired. All work is located at U.S. Coast Guard Station Cortez, 4530 124th Street, Court West, Cortez, FL 34215. The performance period will be 150 calendar days. At the present time, this acquisition is expected to be issued as a Small Business set aside. However, in accordance with FAR 19.1303, HUBZone certified; FAR 19.1403 Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); FAR 19.1505 Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business Concerns (EDWOSB) and FAR 19.1505 Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB); and intends to submit an offer on this acquisition, please respond by e-mail to Ada.M.Hoggard@uscg.mil with "Sources Sought for Solicitation Number 70Z08219BPMV08700" in the subject line. Please reference the above solicitation number in all correspondence pertaining to this project. Your response should include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (b) a statement identifying your certified small business designation; (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, and dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; and (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals.
