THE BID OPENING DATE IS JUNE 25, 2019 AT 2:00 PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME. ************************************** PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: THIS PROJECT IS BEING SET ASIDE FOR TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. ************************************** SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS ONLY A SURVEY OF THE MARKET TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS THAT CAN SATISFY THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: 70Z08219BPMV05100 REPAIR PARKING LOT PAVEMENT U.S. COAST GUARD CUTTER KANAWHA, PINE BLUFF, ARKANSAS The work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and tools to perform tasks, but not limited to the following: Mill and overlay 36,900 S.F. of existing station asphalt parking lot and roadways pavement; construct 1,800 S.F. of new base material and new asphalt pavement parking lot; construct 7,500 S. F. of new 8 inch thick concrete pavement over new base; and repair erosion on slope under existing station pier by performing the required excavation, fill and compaction, and installation of geotextile fabric and rip-rap rubble. The performance period will be one-hundred fifty (150) calendar days. The estimated value of this procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) code is 238990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors). The small business size standard has an annual gross receipt of $15 million. Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds are REQUIRED. The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside this acquisition for Women-Owned (WOSB), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Small Business concerns. At present, this acquisition is expected to be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside.
