The motor for the Twist Air system has burned up and is no longer operational and therefore requires replacement. Base FED electricians have attempted troubleshooting the motor as well as having the motor tested at a local vendor. All efforts have been exhausted and the motor is still no longer operational. Base FED can complete the motor swap out in-house as such this is a material purchase only.This is a CASREP and therefore we are experiencing severe degradation of mission capability. ALC blasting operations are operating at a 70% production capacity due to Twist Air not being operational. ALC is only relying on Main Air and therefore can’t meet 100% production capacity.
