The contractor shall inspect and repair (5) journal bearings (2 - Part # RW1/781031-1 235mm inside diameter, 300mm outside diameter, 175 mm height) (3- Part # RW1/781033-1 140mm inside diameter, 180mm outside diameter, 105mm height) by rebabbiting/ remachining the bore to size, and shall clean and remove wear. Contractor shall ensure the finished bearings are in compliance with the gearwheel and quillshaft bearing clearances listed in sheet 2 of drawing 901-WMEC_241_5. Contractor shall use AISI C 1020 and ASTM B 2349 grade 2 metals for repair IAW line items 12 and 14 in sheet 1 of drawing 901-WMEC_241_5. in accordance with the attached statement of work (SOW).
