Commanding Officer USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center (CPD-C&P1-PBPL) 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Bldg. 31 LL Baltimore, MD 21226 Request for Quotes 70Z08024Q17001B00 The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center intends on awarding a Firm-Fixed Price requirements contract in order to purchase new Ship Service Switchboards for the 87’ Coastal Patrol Boat (WPB) Class Cutters. Powergen Controls, the OEM, has proprietary software which is installed on the main switchboard and controls and proprietary licensing for the hardware to be installed in the main switchboard and controls. To assure proper form, fit and function of the switchboards, only OEM manufactured switchboards shall be used. Items submitted under this solicitation which are other than OEM switchboards will be rejected as unacceptable. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies and/or commercial services items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement will be satisfied using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures
