This solicitation is related to Presolicitation 70Z08023R21909B00 posted to www.sam.gov on 27 June 2023 The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SLFC) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the inspection, overhaul, manufacturing, testing, preserving, packaging, marking, bar coding, and delivery of finished large propulsion and sudder shafts and rudder blades/assemblies of the following USCG Cutters: 210' Medium Endurance Cutters 270' Medium Endurance Cutters 282' Medium Endurance Cutter for Long Range Enforcer Product Line 225' Juniper Class Ocean Going Buoy Tenders - WLB 140' Bal Class Ice Breaking Tugs - WTGC 160' WLIC 65' WYTL 65'/75' WLIC/WLR The Government intends to award between one (1) and four (4) firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts containing one (1) base year and four (4) one-year options as a result of this solicitation using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The offeror shall furnish all necessary labor, material, services, supplies, accessories, and such other things necessary, except as otherwise specificed, to inspect, overhaul, test, manufacture, preserve, package, label/bar-code, and deliver all items contained on Attachment 1 of this soliciation.
