THE PUMP/PUMP UNIT SHALL BE SECURELY BOLTED TO A SKID BASE AND THE LID OR COVER SHALL BE ATTACHED USING STAINLESS STEEL CROSSHEAD SCREWS. THE CONTAINER SHALL BE FRAMED (EITHER ON THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE) USING SOLID WOOD AS FRAMING MATERIAL. THE CONTAINER SHALL BE CAPABLE OF PROTECTING THE PUMP/PUMP UNIT FROM DAMAGE DURING MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS BY COMMERCIAL CARRIER PER ASTM D3951. MARKING: EACH PRESERVED AND PACKED PUMP/PUMP UNIT SHALL BE STENCILED IN THE UPPER LEFT-HAND CORNER OF THE TWO LONGEST SIDES (TWO OPPOSITE SIDES IF SQUARE) OF EACH BOX. THE STENCIL MARKING SHALL BE 3/4" - 1" INCH IN HEIGHT. MARKINGS SHALL BE BLACK CHARACTERS ON WHITE ENAMEL PAINTED BACKGROUND. ALL PREVIOUS MARKINGS AND QUALITY ASSURANCE DECALS SHALL BE REMOVED FROM A REUSABLE SHIPPING CONTAINER PRIOR TO THE APPLICATION OF ANY NEW MARKINGS.
