The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center intends on awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract to overhaul repairable components and purchase service-ready Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts of the Motoren-un Turbinen-Union (MTU) 20V4000M93L series main diesel engine, in support of the 154’ Sentinel class Patrol Boat, also referred to as the Fast Response Cutter (FRC). The period of performance for this requirement will be a base period of twelve (12) months, and four (4) twelve month ordering periods. All items listed are parts manufactured by MTU, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). To assure proper Form, Fit and Function of the parts, only OEM parts shall be used. Items submitted under this solicitation which are other than OEM parts will be rejected as unacceptable. ***THIS NOTICE HAS BEEN AMENDED*** Solicitation has been amended to address vendor questions regarding the solicitation. A copy of these changes are found in the Question and Response sheet, which as been added as Attachment 5. Based on the responses, the solicitation as been updated as follows: "Updated Attachment 2 contracting Pricing and CLIN list" has been posted to reflect a change to CLIN 0020 and 0021 for the Intercooler Core. Please use this document to complete all contract pricing information. SOW P-233-2039 as been added as Attachment 6, which should have been posted in conjunction with Attachment 1 - Statement of Work.. Vendors are reminded that a signed copy of the attached SF 30 should be submitted with their proposal. *****Amendment P0002******* Solicitation has been amended to address additional vendor questions. A copy of these changes are found in the Question and Response sheet, which as been added as Attachment 7. Based on the responses, the solicitation as been updated as follows: "P 00002 Updated Attachment 2 contracting Pricing and CLIN list" has been posted to reflect part number change to various CLINs and to clarify that in additional to the mandatory parts list found in the SOW, a standard overhaul includes the replacement of all required parts as stated in MTU technical publication 8019. Response date of this notice has been extended to 3:30pm EST 7/03/20. Vendors are reminded that a signed copy of the attached SF 30 should be submitted with their quote. *****Amendment P0003******* Solicitation has been amended to address additional vendor questions. A copy of these changes are found in the Question and Response sheet, which as been added as Attachment 8.
