This is not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. REQUIREMENT: The Surface Forces Logistics Center, Patrol Boat Product Line, has a requirement for the purchase of various parts. This sources sought notice is a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for the attached parts list of hose assemblies and fittings. The list is a sample of parts needed and not all inclusive but includes 2 major brands. Finalized list will be provided upon issuance of the solicitation. Brand name parts as listed are acceptable as well as equivalent parts having the same salient characteristics. All hoses and fittings designed to be permanently affixed to each other by crimping, as well as any reusable fittings designed to be used in a similar manner, shall be listed in SAE J1942-1. The anticipated NAICS Code is 541614 Process, Physical Distribution, and Logistics Consulting Services. Period of Performance: It is anticipated that one firm, fixed-price, requirements contract for five (5), one (1) year ordering periods will be awarded for this requirement. At least two references are requested, but more are desirable. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made for a small business set-aside.
