PROPELLER AND WAKE-ADAPTED RUDDER PROTOTYPE MANUFACTURE This is a MARKET SURVEY / SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research). This is not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. REQUIREMENT: The Surface Forces Logistics Center, Patrol Boat Product Line, has a requirement for the design, construction drawings, fabrication method(s), and upon KO approval, fabricate four rudder assemblies (two port, two starboard) and two propeller sets (two pairs of right- and left-handed propellers – four propellers, total), for prototype testing. This description sets forth the requirements for the PROPELLER AND WAKE-ADAPTED RUDDER PROTOTYPE MANUFACTURE in accordance with the attached SPECIFICATION FOR PROPELLER AND WAKE-ADAPTED RUDDER PROTOTYPE MANUFACTURE. The anticipated NAICS Code is 332999 Propellers, ship and boat, made from purchased metal. Period of Performance: It is anticipated that one firm, fixed-price, requirements contract for five (5), one (1) year ordering periods will be awarded for this requirement.
