The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has an urgent requirement and requesting quotations for the following part: Item 1) NSN: 5915-22-269-3991 FILTER, AIR AIR FILTER, USED IN THE AIR HANDLING UNIT, NOVENCO HI-PRES SYNSAFE 13113 475 X 592 ITEM IS A 5 POCKET AIR FILTER USED FOR THE COLLECTION OF FINE DUST PARTICLES IN THE HVAC VENTILATION SYSTEM. NOTE-THIS PARTICULAR AIR FILTER HS BEEN MODIFIED SLIGHTLY DUE TO THE VENTILATING DUCTING BEING ENLARGED LATER IN THE BUILDING PROCESS. SOME OF THE EARLIER CUTTERS WERE CONCERNED ABOUT THE REDUCED AIR FLOW THRU THESE FILTER BAGS DUE TO THE SMALLER SIZE OF THE DUCTING. THE DUCTING WAS ENLARGED FOR INCREASED AIR FLOW WHICH REQUIRED THE FILTERS TO BE SLIGHTLY MODIFIED TO FIT IN THE DUCTING PROPERLY. RUSS EQUIPMENT HAS MODIFIED/MANUFACTURED LARGER FILTERS TO FIT PROPERLY OEM: RUSS EQUIPMENT PART NUMBER: RUAAFALL QTY: 289 EA Item 2) NSN: 3030-22-258-4835 BELT, V OEM: NOVENCO HI-PRES A/S PART NUMBER: XPA1120 QTY: 25 EA *****PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS***** EACH ITEM SHALL BE INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-2073-1E METHOD 10, CUSHIONED AS APPROPRIATE TO PREVIENT MOVEMENT AND DAMAGE FROM EXTERNAL IMPACE. EACH ITEM SHALL THEN BE PACKED IAN AN APPROPRIATELY SIZED ASTM-D5118 DOUBLE-WALL FIBERBOARD BOX. EACH PACKAGE SHALL BE MARKED IAW MIL-STD-129R EXCEPT BAR CODED IAW ISO/IEC-16388-2007, CODE 39 SYMBOLOGY. The above items are used on various US Coast Guard vessels. All items shall be individually packaged, marked and bar-coded in accordance with above. Inspection and acceptance shall take place at Destination after verification of preservation, individual packaging and marking/bar coding requirements and confirmation of no damage during transit. Failure to comply with packaging requirements will result in rejection and nonpayment. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore MD 21126, Mark for: Receiving Room Bldg 88. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. Substitute parts are not acceptable. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source purchase order shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. It is the Government's belief that only Novenco Hi-Pres A/S and/or their authorized distributors can manufacture the required OEM parts. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within two (2) calendar days from the day this notice posted. The data must include sufficient detail to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the requirements. The information submitted must include a letter from the OEM verifying the offeror is an authorized distributor, and verifying the OEM will supply genuine OEM parts. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2019 01 (Dec 2018) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333999 and the business size standard is 500. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106 apply. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award on an all or none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government. The Coast Guard intends to award on a Firm Fixed Price Contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency.
