This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a total small business set-a-side. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333618. This synopsis/ solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b),and the resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. REQUIREMENT: The contractor shall provide pricing for the following in accordance with the attached statement of work (SOW): The U.S. Coast Guard is completing an overhaul of a Caterpillar D-398 engine used as a ship service diesel generator onboard CGC SPENCER homeported in Boston, MA. We require an “overhaul kit” made up of OEM components listed in the enclosed document. We are not requesting any technical support or assistance with this project. SHIPPING LOCATION: USCGC SPENCER c/o CG Integrated Support Center 427 Commercial Street Boston, MA 02109-1094 SHIPPING COST (SHIP FOB DESTINATION): REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE: 18 May 2020 *** A complete kit must be delivered to the vessels homeport during the week of 18 May 2020. Delivery prior to this week is undesirable due to limited storage space. Delivery cannot be made after this week, as it will negatively impact the project timeline.
