Is it the intent of the item to spot prep/coat 500 sqft of the areas mentioned in paragraph 3.3 (p/s stacks, helo hanger/door & railing 01 level and above) followed by clean/scuff the remaining areas and the application of (1) full top coat? A1. Yes Spot and Prep Coat. See Pics Attached Q2. As I interpret the specification, we have to option to power tool clean the areas vice grit/water blasting. Am I correct in this assumption? A2. Yes Q3. Will be allowed to place man lifts on the flight deck for access and will crane service be available? A3. A man lift can be set on the flight deck, however contractor responsible for procuring . Weight will need to be approved by Nav Arch. Q4. Will shore power be available for operation of small power tools? A4. No shore power available. Recommend portable power supplied contractor.
