This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6 and subpart 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. It is the government's intention to solicit and negotiate solely with Bollinger Shipyards, LLC. A Sole Source Justification & Approval is attached to this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70Z080-19-Q-P45H2400 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-02 effective June 05, 2019. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336611. It is anticipated that one (1) firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. The period of performance for this contract is from 07 August 2019 through 05 November 2019. The following documents are attached: Attachment 1: Schedule of Services Attachment 2: Statement of Work - Specification Attachment 3: Justification & Approval (J&A) The contractor shall provide a facility accessible from a navigable waterway at which a ship of the characteristics described in the attached specification can, using its own propulsion, safely arrive, lie afloat and depart at all states of the tide at any time of day or night.
