This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6 and part 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70Z080-19-Q-P45E3100 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-01 effective January 22, 2019. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336611. This solicitation is issued as Competitive Unrestricted, Full and Open. All responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that one (1) firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance for this contract is from 14 May 2019 through 01 June 2019. Contractors that have the qualifications are invited to submit quotations in accordance with the requirements stipulated in this solicitation. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: On 14 May 2019, the contractor will be required to attend pre-sea trials for the vessel at Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg, 600 8th Avenue SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. All dockside/dry dock services will be performed between 15 May 2019 and 01 June 2019 at Tampa Ship, LLC. located at 1130 McCloskey Blvd., Tampa, FL 33605, where the vessel will be in dry dock. The contractor must have the ability to gain access to Tampa Ship shipyard to include any applicable fees, passes, or other entry requirements. In addition, the contractor must abide by any safety and environmental requirements as established by the yard facility. QUESTIONS: Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted by 26 April 2019. After this date, further requests may not be accepted due to time constraints.
