THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The United States Coast Guard, Aviation Training Center (ATC), Mobile, AL is in the process of developing a procurement strategy for the award of three days of helicopter hoisting to local fishing vessels. This is a Sources Sought Notice and a Request for Information (RFI). This is NOT a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and quotes are NOT being requested at this time. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation and shall be provided at no cost to the Government. A Combined Synopsis/Solicitation may follow at a later, to be determined date, and would result in the award of a Firm-Fixed Priced Purchase Order (SF-1449) to a contractor that can provide four local fishing vessels to act as role players. Contact with Government personnel other than the Contracting Officer by any potential Offeror or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited. The purpose of this posting is to locate experienced Offerors capable and interested in providing the services as outlined in the attached draft ATC Mobile Proposal for Fall Hoist Camp Issue Paper. Any interested party shall submit a capability statement by the closing date of this notice and will be considered by the Government for the purposes of determining the procurement strategy for a future Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. The capability statement shall outline the potential Offerors’ experience with providing the services as stated in the draft Hoist Camp Issue Paper. Please include only capabilities relative to the requirements in the Hoist Camp Issue Paper. Potential Offerors shall not submit proprietary information when responding to this notice. Potential Offerors shall also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this notice. Responses are due no later than 0800 CST on September 24, 2020.
