THIS DESIGN BUILD PROJECT IS POSTED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THOSE CONTRACTORS ON THE CURRENT DHS/USCG NATIONAL MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT II (NMACC II). This project will Recapitalize Runway 1-19 at U.S. Coast Guard Base Elizabeth City, NC. Runway 1-19 is currently closed to all flight operations due to its severely degraded structural and functional condition. The paving work includes but is not limited to: Restoring Runway 1-19 (RPUID 24082) to operational conditions as a crosswind, alternate runway for the design mix aircraft at its present dimension of 4,518-feet in length and 150-feet in width. New pavement surfaces shall be Portland Cement Concrete; Full width mill and overlay of all bituminous pavement sections down to the underlying concrete pavement surface of Taxiways Kilo and Golf; (Option) Construct a concrete Turn-around pad for H-C130 aircraft ah the North end of RW 1-19. Construction shall be in accordance with the requirements of UFC 03-260-01 for Army and Air Force facilities based upon the HC-130 aircraft. The lighting work includes but is not limited to: Providing and installing operational LED edge lighting, guidance signs, lighting system components supporting taxiways for Runway 1-19 and various taxiways.
