United States Coast Guard Base Kodiak is hereby soliciting information from potential sources for indoor play area equipment. Base Kodiak is seeking capability statements and product literature from all interested parties, including Small, Small Disadvantaged (SDB), 8(a), Woman-owned (WOSB), Veteran Owned (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) businesses and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI) for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339920, Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in SAM website (www.SAM.gov). It is the potential offeror’s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Base Kodiak is seeking potential sources and product literature for a potential indoor play area, 380 square feet (approximately 29 ft x 11 ft). The desired features include a “soft” play area suitable for children ages 2 to 6. Base Kodiak is seeking information regarding products available, sustainable materials, safety features, accessibility, and other pertinent information to draft a potential requirements document. Interested offerors having the required capabilities or products for consideration should submit a capability statement that describes their abilities and supporting product literature. The capability statement and product literature should not exceed 10 pages in length. To facilitate a prompt review, a one-page summary shall be included with your capability statement.
