Provide labor and material to fill a missing 31’0” section of metal standing seam roofing at USCG Base Ketchikan Crow’s Nest. Existing roofing is 2-1/2” Zip Rib standing seam metal roofing with a 12” nominal spacing, colored Spartan bronze. The new roofing material need not match the existing color, but should be as unobtrusive as possible (e.g. grey). The missing section is currently spanned by TJI210 joists, 5/8” plywood, and covered with two layers of #30 felt underlayment. The Contractor shall replace the existing underlayment with heavy duty UDL felt paper. The Contractor shall install a transition between existing and new roof panels using a cap flashing with proper butyl tape underneath, fastened to the roof with grommet flashing screws.
