The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award a sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation for sustainment support of the Ports and Waterways Safety System (PAWSS), including preventative, corrective, and adaptive maintenance. This effort covers support for Lockheed Martin’s proprietary Maritime Traffic Management (MTM) software, which is the core Command and Control software within PAWSS. Lockheed Martin is considered the only responsible source capable of meeting the requirement under the cited statutory authority. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested responsible sources may submit a capability statement for the agency to consider. The government retains sole discretion to determine whether to proceed on a non-competitive basis or to compete the requirement.
