The intent of this Request for Information (RFI) is to assist the government in the procurement of a new IEC 62388 compliant, 25kW, X-band surface search radar system to replace (1) the legacy FURUNO FAR 2XX7 Series Radars used throughout the Coast Guard Cutter fleet, and (2) as a replacement for the legacy Radar Sensor Systems in use at various Coast Guard Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) sites. This procurement will be for equip/parts only and WILL NOT include radar installations. Please see attached RFI document and attachments for full details.
