NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE. Only one responsible source (brand name) and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements as the 2021 ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section IX: Welding and Brazing Qualifications are required for course instruction and cannot be substituted. See attached Sole Source Justification, SF-1449, and ADDENDA for further information. The United States Coast Guard, Training Center (TRACEN) Yorktown, Contracting & Procurement, Yorktown, VA anticipates awarding sole source procurement for the items as listed in the attached SF-1449 RFQ # 70Z04122QYORKASME. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to establish a single award Contract. The Government intends to award to only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). The Government is seeking a responsible Contractor to provide all line items requested.
