The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to make a 100% Small business set-aside award on a brand name basis for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) 60 Series Marine Engine parts. The USCG will ensure a properly executed Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOTFOC) has been completed prior to Contract award. Attached to this notice is a DRAFT solicitation for the DTNA parts required for this acquisition. There are no significant changes expected between the DRAFT and FINALIZED versions of the solicitation. The DRAFT is provided as an opportunity for qualified (qualified means being able to provide an authorized distributor letter from the OEM along with proposal submission) interested vendors to be able to begin gathering required information (i.e. pricing, completing provisions, etc.) necessary to submit a valid response to the forthcoming FINALIZED solicitation. It is anticipated that the FINALZED solicitation will be posted to SAM.gov on or about 5/13/2025. The USCG will not review or accept any information or responses associated with the DRAFT solicitation provided in this pre-solicitation notice.
