The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Small Boat Product Line (SBPL) is planning to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase order on a sole source basis to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Vector Controls Inc. (Vector), as a result of this synopsis/solicitation to provide services needed to support the Vector Control systems currently installed on the United States Coast Guard (USCG) 45’ Response Boat- Medium (RB-M). It is the Government’s belief that only Vector, the OEM, has the required technical and engineering data and OEM parts required to successfully provided the requested products and services. This Contract will be awarded as a 100% small business set aside in accordance with FAR 12, supplemented with FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services.
