This is a Sources Sought notice only, not a solicitation announcement and is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. This posting is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), and it is not considered to be a commitment by the Government to award a contract nor is the Government responsible for any costs incurred in furnishing information provided under this sources sought. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this sources sought or Government use of any information provided. Further, the Coast Guard is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response to this sources sought. Responses will assist the Government in determining the availability of potential solutions and commercial products in the market. At this time no solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) requests capability statements from interested companies for the purpose of identifying sources capable of providing support services for maintenance and repair of all forklifts and equipment in Attachment (1). Forklifts and Equipment listed on the Inventory Control Point (ICP) Equipment List are located at the U.S. Coast Guard Yard, Baltimore Maryland. Please provide response to the below Questions The below questions are part of Market Research to seek Maintenance and Repair services for the US Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Inventory Control Point (ICP) located in Baltimore, Maryland. Can you provide personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other services needed to perform maintenance and repair on the attached list of Brand and Model equipment? Can you maintain operational capability for all listed equipment referenced on Attachment (1) (Operational capability is defined as no more than three (3) pieces of equipment being non-operational for no more than one (1) week at any given time) Do you have the capabilities of providing Quarterly and Annual Preventative Maintenance on all listed equipment, in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) perspective manufacturer specifications? Do you have the capabilities to respond to any unscheduled repairs or casualties within forty-eight (48) hours? Do you have the capabilities of performing monthly Battery Watering on all required equipment? Do your maintenance technicians hold the qualifications to conduct maintenance and repairs on the listed equipment, Attachment (1)? As equipment ages, the USCG decommissions old equipment, replacing with new. In some cases, purchases new equipment needed to complete different jobs. Does your company have the capability of taking on the addition of similar equipment? After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on the beta.SAM.gov website. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought notice. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice and any follow-up information requests. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact (POC), repair capabilities, certifications, and etc. which will allow the USCG to understand your full capabilities. Please respond to the following questions when submitting capabilities. 1) Is your company a large or small business? 2) If small, does your company qualify as a small, emergent business, or a small disadvantaged business? 3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and is your company certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? 4) Is your company a certified hub zone firm? 5) Is your company a woman-owned or operated business? 6) Is your company a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned? 7) Is your company's services listed on a GSA schedule? 8) Do you have other government agencies using this service, and if so which agencies, POC's and contract numbers?
