The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Engineering Services Division, In-Service Vessel Sustainment team has a requirement for Technical Representative services to update existing software configuration files; groom; and validate the operations of the Switchboard Upgrade kits on the CGC SENECA switchboard. Contractor shall provide software updates; update and validate settings; and configuration of the EasyGEN switchboard PLC controllers; and provide technical support and updates required to incorporate updated CGMCS software, It is the Government's belief that only Affinity Power Systems, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), is capable of providing the required services, therefore it is the Government's intent to solicit and award a purchase order, on a sole source basis, to the OEM. Engineering and technical information required to successfully perform these services is proprietary to the OEM. However, concerns having the capability of providing these services has an opportunity to submit their capabilities no later than seven (7) calendar days after the date of this notice. Information that must be submitted must include: (1) verification the source is an authorized service facility for the OEM; (2) verification that required engineering and technical data can be obtained from the OEM, including required updated software. Information received after the established deadline shall not be considered. Submission of this information shall NOT impede award of this purchase order. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Engineering Services DIvision, In-Service Vessel Sustainment team has a requirement to procure Gyrocompass systems to replace the current sustems installed on the 175; WLM buoy tenders during the 185 WLM Major Maintenance Availability program. Vendor will be required to provide Gyrocompass systems; an Onboard Repair Parts Kit; initial system stock parts; and Technical Representative services to provide commissioning support and operational and maintenance training. The Government intends to award one (1) fixed price Requirements contract, consisting of one (1) 12-month base period and nine (9) 12-month option periods as a result of this solicitation. This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. The solicitation, and all related documentation, is posted with this notice. THe due date for receipt of quotations is February 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM EST.
