The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Small Boat Product Line (SBPL), has a requirement on a brand name (OEM: MTU America, Inc.) only basis for the remanufacture of MTU Detroit Diesel 60 Series marine engines and the attached Twin Disc 5114 reduction gear currently used on the 45’ Response Boat Medium (RBM). This solicitation will establish up to three (3) multiple award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, with firm-fixed pricing consisting of one (1) twelve (12) month base period, and two (2) twelve (12) month option periods, that will allow the SBPL to order remanufactures of 60 Series marine engines (in varying quantities) during the duration of the contract.
