This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE and no award is to follow. Pursuant to FAR part 10 (Market Research), the United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, Baltimore, MD is seeking qualified sources that demonstrate the capability to meet the agency’s requirements based on the attached Specification and the list of OEM Kongsberg Maritime, Inc.’s Jet Drive parts used aboard the USCG 45’ Response Boat – Medium small boats. The anticipated NAICS Code is 333613 – Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing and the size standard is 750 employees. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Interested parties should register in the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. SAM can be obtained by accessing the internet at www.sam.gov or by calling 1-866-606-8220. The requirement will be for NEW and not re-manufactured OEM parts. Companies having capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit complete information discussing their capabilities no later than the close date of this notice (April 28, 2022). The information submitted must include: 1. Name of Company, Address and UEI Number 2. Point of Contact and Phone Number 3. Business Size applicable to the NAICS Code (If Small Business, must identify concern) 4. A Statement to affirm if the Company is an Authorized distributor or dealer for OEM Kongsberg Maritime, Inc.’s Jet Drive parts. 5. Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Government to evaluate the information relative to the requirements. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation notice and solicitation may be published on SAM.gov website. It is the potential vendor’s responsibility to monitor SAM.gov for release of any future solicitation that may result from this Sources Sought Notice. However, responses to this Sources Sought Notice will not be considered adequate responses to any resultant solicitation.
