The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center intends to issue a Commercial Combined Synopsis/Solicitation as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Dry Dock Repair of USCG Station (STA) Panama City (45633). The acquisition will be set-aside for Small Businesses. The Coast Guard intends to conduct the procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and, FAR Par 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Methods. The acquisition will be issued as a Best Value, RFQ. This Requirement will be evaluated using past performance as an evaluation factor. The standard NAICS is 336611. All work will be performed at the contractor’s facility. The performance period will be sixty-five (65) calendar days with a start date on or about 03 November 2020. GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION: Hull number 45633 is restricted to an area no greater than 320 nautical miles from the boat's home station (Panama City), on navigable waterways, and no greater than 50 miles offshore. Home Station: USCG STA Panama City 1700 Thomas Drive Panama City, FL 32408. The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation will be issued as a RFQ via the beta.SAM.gov web page at https://beta.sam.gov/ . It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the beta.SAM.gov web page for the RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. beta.SAM.gov also contains an option for automation notification service. Hard copies of the specification and RFQ will not be issued. A CD-ROM containing all applicable drawings will be sent via U.S. mail or e-mail, if requested.
