This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE and no award is to follow. Pursuant to FAR part 10 (Market Research), the United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, Baltimore, MD is seeking 8(a) Certified Small Business sources that are capable of satisfying the agency’s requirements by providing nationwide transportation, storage, maintenance, and repair for a rotatable pool consisting of approximately 114 Cutter Boats, Over-the-Horizon (CB-OTH) III/IV and trailers deployed on cutters worldwide. The anticipated number of boats repaired per year is estimated to be between 15 and 45. The anticipated number of boats in storage at any given time is estimated at 15 boats. The anticipated number of boats in maintenance at one time is 15 boats. Provide any documentation, illustrations, and/or specifications as needed to demonstrate the ability to meet the above requirement. The anticipated NAICS Code is 336611 – Ship Building and Repairing and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Interested parties should register in the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. SAM can be obtained by accessing the internet at www.beta.sam.gov or by calling 1-866-606-8220. Companies having capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit complete information discussing their capabilities no later than the close date of this notice (10/21/2020). For all questions, please submit those no later than (10/15/2020). The information submitted must include: 1. Name of Company, Address and DUNS Number. 2. Point of Contact and Phone Number. 3. Proof of 8(a) Certified Small Business status applicable to the NAICS Code. 4. Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate capability of providing transportation, storage, maintenance, and repair for a rotatable pool of Cutter Boats. 5. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Government to evaluate the information relative to the requirements.
