The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center intends to issue a Commercial Combined Synopsis/Solicitation as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Dry Dock Repair of USCG (STA) SABINE (45663). The acquisition will be set-aside for Small Businesses. The Coast Guard intends to conduct the procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Far Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Methods. The acquisition will be issued as a Best Value, RFQ. This requirement will be evaluated using Past Performance as an evaluation factor. The standard NAICS is 336611. All work will be performed at the contractor’s facility. The performance period will be twenty nine (29) calendar days with a start date on or about 22 June, 2021. GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION: Hull number 45663 restricted to an area of 75 over the road miles from IPF Galveston. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the beta.sam.gov web page for the RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. Beta.Sam.gov also contains an option for automation notification service. Hard copies of the specification and RFQ will not be issued. A CD-ROM containing all applicable drawings will be sent via U.S. mail or email, if requested.
