The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement to overhaul and upgrade one (1) each Appleton Marine Electro-Hydraulic Crane, Model RAD 30-15.5 to be installed on the CGC CYPRESS during the 225' Mid-Life Maintnance Availability (MMA). It is the Government's belief that only Appleton Marine, The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), possesses the necessary technical and engineering data to successfully overhaul and ugrade this Crane while ensuring form, fit, and function with existing equipment. All parts used during overhaul must be genuine OEM parts. No substitutes are acceptable. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Appleton Marine. Delivery shall be FoB Destination within twenty-four (24) weeks after contract award to U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Request for Quotation Number 70Z0402161011B00 is attached to this notice. The deadline for receipt of quoations is 1/5/2021. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1.
