The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking authorized resellers that can provide either of the following fuel additives for use in MTU Diesel Marine Engines: Manufacturer Brand Name Concentration for Use The Lubrizol Corporation ADX 766 M 250 to 350 mg/kg Tunap Industrie GmBH Tunadd PS 250 to 350 mg/kg The brands identified above are the only sources approved by MTU America, Inc. for use in its marine diesel engines. The USCG intends to issue a single award requirements contract, consisting of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods to one company that can provide either of the products identified above. If you have the ability to provide these products in the following estimated sizes and quantities: Estimated Quantities: 55 Gallon Drums (estimated weight per drum is 418 lb.) Base Year: 100 Drums Option Year One: 100 Drums Option Year Two: 120 Drums Option Year Three: 120 Drums Option Year Four: 120 Drums Your company will also be required to store up to 20 drums for a period of one year, as well as ship a minimum of 4 drums at a time to the following locations: Honolulu, HI Alameda, CA Charleston, SC No cost or pricing information is required at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government does not intend to pay for this information. Responses shall be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement mentioned above and provide all information necessary for the Coast Guard to make a determination of acceptability.
