This sources sought notice is to identify qualified sources for an upcoming procurement. The procurement is for four (4) trailer mounted generators (120kW each) - Wenzlau Engineering part number 225829-501 or equal. Scope: The trailer mounted generators will support the United States Coast Guard's Mobile Support Unit and to be utilized for World wide deployment. The following are salient characteristics that will be used to determine if an item is equilvalent to the Wenzlau trailer mounted generator part # 225829-501: 1. Have 120kW prime output, capable of running 16+ hours at full load on a single tank of diesel fuel. 2. Can be mounted on a dual axle trailer with 3 inch pintle ring coupler, electric over hydraulic brakes and equipped with an onboard fuel cell to provide additional run time. 3. Can meet U.S. Department of Transportation's highway certifications and U.S. Air Force certification for flight transportation. 4. Is compliant with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards and not requiring emissions after treatment, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). Please reference EPA document: EPA-420-B-16-022 dated March, 2016 (not included with this notice). 5. Must come with a 1st party commerical warranty. Required Delivery: Delivery of product within ninety (90) calendar days of award. Anticipated solicitation date: February 2019 Information Requested: If your company can provide four (4) Wenzlau brand trailer mounted generators or equal items within a 90 day timeframe, please respond to this sources sought.
