The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision to install approximately 340 SF of grating and approximately 147 LF of safety railing. All work must be done IAW with the Scope of Work (SOW) attached. LOCATIONS: Project location for the grating is in front of Mc Allister Hall. The railing location is between the Boiler Plant and the Shops building.at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The business address is 15 Mohegan Ave, New London, CT 06320 Targeted Period of Performance is from date of award to 15 October 2021 SITE INVESTIGATION: Any bidder interested in completing the project shall perform a site visit to the locations of the project to become familiar with all the existing conditions under which the project will be performed prior to submitting their bid. Visits to the site may be coordinated with CWO2 Brian Boss, Assistant Public Works Officer at 860.444.8554 or Brian.R.Boss@uscg.mil (email preferred). Failure to visit site and make a proper assessment will not relieve the awarded Contractor from contracted work because of under (low) bid.
