FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds (APR 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The United States Coast Guard Academy (CGA) is procuring services to conduct inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of the Notifier Fire Alarm (FA) Systems and Mass Notification Systems (MNS) at the Coast Guard Academy, New London CT. All work shall be performed in accordance with the PWS, all current applicable State and Federal Regulations, National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, Chapter 14 Inspection, Testing and Maintenance, and NFPA 4, Standard for Integrated Fire Protection and Life Safety System Testing. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment materials and perform all operations in conjunction with inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing the Academy Fire Alarm Systems, Mass Notification Systems and related equipment. The contractor shall also ensure at all times the system complies with the most recent provisions of all current applicable State and Federal Regulations, National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, and NFPA 4, Standard for Integrated Fire Protection and Life Safety System Testing.
