The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision to remove, dispose and replace existing 8KW Emergency Lighting Inverter in the Electrical Room (Chase E Basement) located at US Coast Guard Academy New London, CT including removalf all existing batteries (Existing Model #HFT-8000-S-P-OCB12A20A). Dispose of batteries per EPA guidelines for hazardous material. Provide new batteries. Size and number of batteries determined by manufacturer, based on the inverter’s electrical capacity. Input Voltage is 277V at 36A. Connect to existing feeder source from MDP (277V, 60A, single phase). Inverter Output voltage –120VAC. Provide inverter with (12) 20A, 120V, single pole circuit breakers. Connect inverter outputs to existing lighting circuits. All work must be done as specified in the attached Scope of Work (SOW) with pictures.
