The purpose of AMENDMENT 2 is to close the solicitation early due to the change in the urgency of the requirement. Amendment 1 to is to provide answers to the following questions: QUESTION: Is this brand name only or will you accept equal to brand name? I also want to know what the delivery address is for this, and the estimated turnaround time required. ANSWER: As outlined in the J and A, this is a brand name requirement, because this is supplementing the existing units in our warehouse. Vendors are still capable of providing a quote for an “equal to” brand name. The end user has the option to accept any part numbers, as long as the items quoted are compatible with the units already in place in the warehouse. The address where these items will be delivered is: 1664 Weeksville Road, Building 63, Elizabeth City, NC 27909-5001. As far as the estimated turnaround time, it is desirable to get the units as soon as possible. Please include the estimated turnaround time, when you provide a quote. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70Z03826QB0003004 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect as of November 28, 2025, IAW the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO). The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 337214. The small business size standard is 1,100 employees. This is a restricted requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded on a Brand Name basis as a result of this synopsis/solicitation.
