This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, and it is anticipated that a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded on a sole-source basis to Goodrich Actuation Systems. The requirement is for new, OEM-traceable parts that must be approved in accordance with FAA guidelines to ensure aircrew safety. All parts must have clear, documented traceability back to the OEM, Goodrich Actuation Systems, and only newly manufactured items with a Certificate of Airworthiness will be procured. No substitute or alternate parts will be considered. While the government believes Goodrich Actuation Systems is the only known source, other responsible sources with the required expertise and capabilities are invited to submit quotations.
