This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotes/proposals. This Sources Sought Notice has been issued to survey the market and assist the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in determining possible sources for consideration. All firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. The USCG is conducting market research to seek sources that have the capability to supply the item listed below as: ITEM 1. ITEM 1: Digital Crew Unit (DCU) NSN: 1680-01-HS3-3084 P/N: 1188200-115 Manufacturer (MFR) Cage Code: 00816 Responses Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, and point of contact (POC). Please respond to the following questions: 1. Is your business a large or small business and how many employees? 2. What North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code does your company use for this type of service? 3. Is your business active in SAM.Gov and do you have a CAGE code? 4. Is your business, Woman owned? Veteran owned? Sole proprietor? 5. Provide estimate lead time for warranty consideration and routine maintenance? 6. Provide estimate shipping information: will shipping be F.O.B. Destination, or F.O.B. Origin. If shipping is F.O.B. Origin, please provide estimated shipping cost. 7. Do you have other government agencies using the product, and if so which agencies, POCs and contract numbers? 8. Will you be able to provide traceability to the OEM? Please provide sufficient detail for the Government to determine that the interested party is capable of meeting the requirement stated above. After the review of the responses to this Sources Sought announcement, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on the SAM.gov website. Responses to this Sources Sought notice are not adequate responses to any future solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Closing date and time for receipt of response is 12/8/2025 @ 12:00PM EST. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website for additional information pertaining to this potential requirement.
