This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotes/proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This Sources Sought Notice has been issued to survey the market and assist the USCG in determining possible sources for consideration. All firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. The USCG is conducting market research to seek sources that have the capability to supply the item listed in Table 1. The supplier shall manufacture the material to conform to Sikorsky’s specifications (P/N: SS9516-002). Alternate part numbers can only be approved and added to the QPL by Sikorsky Materials and Process Engineering. However, any offerors with alternate part numbers must be able to provide the documentation their material was manufactured to conform to Sikorsky’s specifications latest revision. Item must have traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Trelleborg Coated Systems US, Inc., Cage Code: 6D968. In addition, the contractor shall furnish a Certificate of Conformance (COC). At this time, Trelleborg is the only known source Sikorsky has approved to manufacture the material, and is the only source specifically listed in their specifications under the Qualified Products List (QPL). The USCG will not provide the required specifications but must be acquired from Sikorsky. Component Description Blue Coated Cloths NSN: 8305-01-HS1-6128 P/N: RAWMA09-861-004 Responses Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, and point of contact (POC). Please respond to the following questions: Is your business a large or small business and how many employees? What North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code does your company use for this type of service? Is your business active in SAM.Gov and do you have a CAGE code? Is your business, Woman owned? Veteran owned? Sole proprietor? Provide estimate lead time for warranty consideration and routine maintenance? Provide estimate shipping information: will shipping be F.O.B. Destination, or F.O.B. Origin. If shipping is F.O.B. Origin, please provide estimated shipping cost. Do you have other government agencies using the product, and if so which agencies, POCs and contract numbers? Will you be able to provide traceability to the OEM? Will you be able to provide a Certificate of Conformance? Will you be able to supply the material in individual one hundred (100) yard (YD) rolls? Please provide sufficient detail for the Government to determine that the interested party is capable of meeting the requirement stated above. After the review of the responses to this Sources Sought announcement, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on the SAM.gov website. Responses to this Sources Sought notice are not adequate responses to any future solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
