THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/Request for Information (RFI). In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation part 10.002(iii), the United States Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research to identify commercially available market sources capable of providing newly Main Landing Gear (MLG) Tubeless Tires with full traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), Dunlop Aircraft Tyres Inc. (Cage Code 7JGG5), Meggitt Aerospace (Cage Code K1037) and Wisecom Technologies Inc. (Cage Code 88KZ6). The USCG Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) requests capability statements from interested companies for the purpose of identifying authorized distributors capable of providing MLG Tubeless Tires in accordance with the OEM’s specifications. Specific part is listed below: Nomenclature: MLG Tubeless Tires Part Number: DR30020T National Stock Number: 2620-99-958-9656 All manufacturing data for this requirement is proprietary to the OEM’s. The USCG does not own, nor can it provide specifications, plans, drawing, or other technical data. Responses should include the following: Name and address of contractor Cage Code Point of contact including name, title, phone, and email address Lead time for in stock products and/or for non-stock availability State whether the business is OEM certified and if so, provide proof of approval State whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business in terms of the NAICS code 336413 GSA Contract information if applicable and other information that provides the Coast Guard with a more accurate picture of the potential marketplace for this requirement. The NAICS code is 336413 and the small business size standard is 1,250. After the review of the responses to this sources sought announcement, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on the Beta Sam.gov website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not adequate responses to any future announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought synopsis. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests.
