The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of commercially available products that may be of interest to the United States Coast Guard (USCG). DESCRIPTION: This notice is to assist the USCG in determining potential sources capable of providing an OEM certified Field Service Representative, Program Support, and Technical Services to support the USCG HC-27J aircraft. Potential sources must be able to provide evidence of possession of an OEM certification. The OEM is Leonardo SpA (Cage Code A1512). This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. This synopsis is for information, planning and market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation announcement and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. REPLIES: All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information to this sources sought. All interested parties must respond to any subsequent solicitation notice published on the website, https://beta.sam.gov/. Responses should include the following: • Name and address of contractor • Cage Code • Point of contact including name, title, phone, and email address • State whether the business is OEM certified and if so, provide certificate of approval • State whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business • GSA Contract information if applicable and other information that provides the Coast Guard with a more accurate picture of the potential marketplace for this requirement. • The applicable NAICS code is 541330- Engineering Services Responses shall be emailed to Elizabeth McCrodden, Contract Specialist at Elizabeth.E.McCrodden@uscg.mil, and shall include “70Z03820IW0000002 Sources Sought” in the subject line. Telephone responses will NOT be accepted. Responses are requested no later than 4:00 p.m. eastern time on July 10, 2020.
