Description This is a sources sought notice only and does not constitute a solicitation announcement. The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is conducting market research seeking qualified sources capable of the implementation and installation of lifting equipment. This sources sought has been issued to survey the market to identify suitable candidates for possible future consideration. A draft Statement of Objective (SOO) describing the scope and nature of the requirement is included as attachment 1. Concerns having the experience and expertise to provide this service are invited to respond to this sources sought notice. Responses Please include the following with your response: 1. Company name, cage code, address, and point of contract (POC) including telephone number and email address. 2. Please provide a capability statement to include your company's ability to apply and install/construct overhead lifting equipment suitable to specific applications. 3. What North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code does your company use for this type of service? 4. Does your firm qualify as a small business concern? TELEPHONE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses should be submitted to Ty.B.DeHart@uscg.mil. Please indicate 70Z03819IB2000010 in the subject line. Responses must be received no later than 8-August-2019. After the review of the responses to this request and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, the USCG intends to invite potential qualified candidates to an Industry Day to allow for an on-site evaluation of the USCG's specific requirement followed by the publication of a solicitation announcement on the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website. Responses to this sources sought notice are not an adequate response to any future solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this request. Responses to this request are not a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as one. Therefore, there will be no evaluation of responses to this sources sought for award purposes. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resulting future solicitation where quotes or proposals will be requested. There is no date set for a resulting solicitation and no guarantee that a solicitation will be issued. All submitted materials will be designated for Government Use Only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this request and any follow up information requests.
