This is a request for information. The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), SRR/MH-65 aircraft division has a requirement for the evaluation and modification of Light,Hover Landing used on the MH-65 aircraft. USCG ALC is seeking qualified contractors with the facilities, equipment, skills, knowledge, and resources required to evaluate and repair the MH-65 Light,Hover Landing identified below: Nomenclature: Light,Hover Landing Part Number: 113PE01BABY00 National Stock Number: 6210-01-HS3-0341 Manufacturer CAGE: F0214 The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Light,Hover Landing Zodiac Aero Electric (Cage Code: F0214). Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these repairs are invited to respond to this Sources Sought notice. All data for evaluation and repair is proprietary to the OEM. The USCG does not own, nor can it provide specifications, plans, drawing, or other technical data. Vendor will develop the necessary modification drawings needed to engineer and manufacture test fixtures along with any associated tooling as may be required. Disassemble, de-solder, and remove the existing cable harness assembly and replace it with one that ensures that its outside diameter length from its base is at least nine (9) inches in length to the base of the cannon plug. A potential vendor shall also ensure that the developed modification acceptance test procedures and final assembly are done in accordance with the OEM CMM as it applies to all required testing acceptance functions prior to final assembly and inspection. A potential vendor shall also be responsible for any warranty returns that the OEM deems was created as a result of the current configuration modification harness assembly cable change. Responses should include the following: • Name and address of contractor • Cage Code • Point of contact including name, title, phone, and email address • Capability statement to include the lead time for evaluation and repairs and standard warranty included with product • State whether the business is OEM certified and if so, provide proof of approval • State whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business in terms of the NAICS code 488190 • GSA Contract information if applicable and other information that provides the Coast Guard with a more accurate picture of the potential marketplace for this requirement. The NAICS code is 488190 and the small business size standard is $32.5M. TELEPHONE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses should be submitted to James.R.Callison@uscg.mil. Responses must be received no later than 25 April 2019 at 2:15 p.m. EST. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as one. Therefore, there will be no evaluation of responses to this RFI for award purposes. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resulting future solicitation where quotes or proposals will be requested. There is no date set for a resulting solicitation or if a solicitation will be issued. All submitted materials will be designated for Government Use Only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow up information requests.
