THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award for Health Club Memberships for USCG Southeast Alaska personnel from April 1, 2024, through June 30, 2024, to THE ALASKA CLUB GOVERNMENTAL, LLC, 5201 E TUDOR RD, ANCHORAGE, AK. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor currently has staffing and processes in place to enable continuity of support for the short-term, while the government solicits a long-term solution for these services. United States Coast Guard, Sectoe Southeas Alaska, will be the procuring entity for this effort. Performance will be located at Juneau, Alaska 99801. The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 713940. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 7 Jun 2024, at 1:00 p.m., Alaska time. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
