This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors, evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is 70Z035-20-Q-PJT95400 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-06. Department of Labor Wage Rates for services are included in this order and are applicable. Wage Determination NO: 2015-5686 Revision NO: 11 Date of Last Revision: December 23, 2019 The associated NAICS code is 238220 and the small business size standard is $16,500,000.00. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for SMALL BUSINESS. Scope of Work and Specifications for: USCG Base Ketchikan 1300 Stedman Street Ketchikan, AK 99901-6698 STATEMENT OF WORK Base Ketchikan HOT WATER HEATER & SHIPPING Located at U.S. Coast Guard Base Ketchikan, AK. 03/24/2020 Commanding Officer United States Coast Guard Base Ketchikan Facilities Engineering Ketchikan, AK 99901-6698 SCOPE: The contractor shall provide materials and transportation necessary to replace the 100 gallon, oil-fired water heater and plumbing associated with installation at USCG Base Ketchikan (Upper Base) Galley. Water heater will be installed by USCG personnel. MATERIALS AND LOCATIONS: Materials shall be delivered to the jobsite in their original unopened packages, clearly marked with the manufacturer’s name, brand name, and description of contents. Storage shall be in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area. Stored materials shall be protected from sunlight, and kept away from excessive heat. The Contractor is required to comply with local VOC laws and regulations. All applicable Material Safety Data Sheets shall be available upon request. SCHEDULE OF WORK: Completion of work shall be accomplished within 14 calendar days from acceptance of submittals. The base normal working hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. EXISTING CONDITIONS: The existing 100 gallon, oil-fired water heater was installed in 2010 and has begun to leak. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: The COR and/or KO will verify inspection and acceptance of delivery of materials. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: GENERAL: The contractor shall provide all materials and transportation necessary for USCG personnel to replace the 100 gallon oil-fired water heater, new burner, and flue at USCG Base Ketchikan (Upper Base) Galley.
